EVERY STUDENT HAS A STORY !

During my junior year of high school, I was overwhelmed and nervous about the process of my college search. I thought it’d be almost impossible for me to even get accepted to college until meeting Coach B. He has helped make the process fun and enjoyable while making it a great learning experience more than anything. Now as a senior I’ve been accepted to over 25 colleges & universities and plan to attend Miami University majoring in Early Childhood Education this fall. Coach B taught me that all things are possible as long as I put my mind to them and have faith. His act of kindness will never go unrecognized, it’s been a pleasure working with him and I look forward to continuing doing such in the future.  

Coach B was a wonderful College Counselor who went out of his way to ensure that each and every one of his students was fully prepared for college. He didn’t even care to brag about getting all of his students to college because that wasn’t  his main focus; his focus was on ensuring that we actually got into the school we wanted and could afford it!  You could genuinely feel he cared by the way he communicated with us and the fact that he worked long hours to ensure we were prepared with (Fasfa, college acceptance, Financial aid & more). I can confidently state that if I didn’t have Coach B as a teacher/advisor, I would never have been so well prepared for college.

Starting the college process was very difficult in its own right because I was mostly doing it alone since my mom never did it, so I was learning with her, but Coach B made it easier to understand. I was listening to my cousins and friends and they seemed lost, but Coach B encouraged me to make excellent decisions like applying to scholarships without helping me and actually caring I don't know where I would be right now.
